I tell stories...so why don't I have one?
I went to the first ever Cultivate workshop put on by the Little Rock Regional Chamber and it was eye-opening. I learned a lot and it was even better knowing a fellow Reddie, Teuana Smith, put the whole thing together.
I'm going through my notes and came across a great quote from the speaker, Myron Jackson.
"A good story is the difference between selling products and selling loyalty"
That hit me hard! I've tried to run my business as clean, explaining our services in the most clinical way possible: specific and sterile. But when your job is telling someone else's brand story, you have to lead by example.
My story is this: I am a lifelong creative finding my way in the business world, one video at a time — I started from square one and have turned my side hustle into a full-time gig. Things are growing FAST, but I'm determined to succeed.
And those are the kind of people I like working with — entrepreneurs who started in square one and are determined to succeed.
So, that's my story — what's yours?
